What benefits do you get in the scheme?
If you join the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana, then you have to install solar panels at your home. For this, the central government gives you the subsidy available under the scheme. You can apply online in the scheme, after which verification is done at your home and then the subsidy is sent to your bank account.

You get this much subsidy.
If we talk about subsidies, then first know that on installing solar panels, you are given 300 units of free electricity every month.
If you install a 1 kilowatt solar panel, then you get a subsidy of 30 thousand rupees.
Whereas, on installing a 2 kilowatt solar panel, you get 60 thousand rupees and on installing a 3 kilowatt solar panel, you get a subsidy of 78 thousand rupees directly in your bank account.
