Only women get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Men cannot take advantage of this scheme. Only women living below the poverty line can take advantage of the scheme.
The benefit of the scheme is available to those women who are 18 years or older. On the other hand, if you already have an LPG gas cylinder, then you will not get the benefit of this scheme.
To take advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, you must have a BPL card. Apart from this, the bank account of the beneficiary woman should be linked to the Aadhar card.
If you are going to take advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, then you must have documents like an Aadhar card, ration card, BPL card, print of name in BPL list, passport size photo, bank photocopy, age certificate, mobile number, etc. If you do not have these documents, then you will not get the benefit of the scheme.
