Let us tell you that the police arrested him on Thursday. The incident took place in Samravata village of Tonk district of Rajasthan, when Netaji slapped SDM Amit Chaudhary.

After this slapping incident, there was violence in Tonk district. Police arrested Naresh Meena on Thursday. After this, more arrests were made. So far, police have arrested 60 named accused. Arrests of many more people are possible.

The police have registered a case against Naresh Meena, the accused of hitting the SDM in Deoli-Uniyara, under several sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), 2023. Late on Wednesday night, Naresh Meena's supporters created a ruckus in the entire district in protest against this incident. The next day Naresh himself came forward. He made serious allegations against the SDM and the Collector. Naresh Meena said - SDM was getting the voting done in a fraudulent manner.

Police said that 25 FIRs have been registered in different districts in connection with this violence. There was a huge uproar in Tonk. Vehicles were burnt. Naresh Meena's supporters created a lot of ruckus. Later they sat on a dharna. The situation became such that the police had to use tear gas. There was a clash between the police and Naresh Meena's supporters. Meena supporters set fire to about 24 big vehicles. About 48 bikes also got burnt. Many houses were also vandalized.

By-election was being held in the Deoli-Uniyara assembly seat of Tonk district. The people of Samravata village had boycotted the voting demanding that their panchayat be included in Uniara instead of Deoli. It is alleged that SDM Amit Chaudhary of Malpura secretly made three people cast their votes. This is why Naresh Meena slapped him. After this incident, heavy police force is deployed in the area. Police is trying to catch the remaining accused.
