Ind Vs Eng: Team India has to play a three-match ODI series against England before the Champions Trophy 2025. The selectors have already started preparing for this series.
The selectors can soon announce the team for this series. Some big players can be dropped from the team before this series.
Rohit Sharma can be the captain
Rohit Sharma can be made the captain of the team for this series. Rohit is currently the captain of Team India in ODIs and Tests. While Jasprit Bumrah can be made the vice-captain of Team India. Bumrah has recently been made the vice-captain in Test matches as well and looking at his performance, he can now be given the responsibility of vice-captain in ODIs as well.
Rahul and Iyer may be out
KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, the two main batsmen who took Team India to the finals in the World Cup 2023, may be dropped from the team. Team India has not played many ODIs since the World Cup, but even in that, the performance of both of them has been poor, due to which they can be dropped from the team.
Rahul was also dropped in the last match of the ODI series that Team India played against Sri Lanka. Both of them can be dropped from the team and Rishabh Pant and Shivam Dubey can be given a chance. Shivam has been injured for some time, due to which he is out of the team. Whereas looking at Rishabh's form in Tests, he can once again be given a chance in ODIs.
