Turmeric should be clean.
Turmeric used in the kitchen can sometimes be adulterated. In such a situation, always use pure turmeric for the skin. Only pure turmeric helps in enhancing the beauty of the skin. Your skin can get damaged due to adulteration.
Do a patch test
If you are going to use turmeric, then do a patch test once first. For the patch test, first, try applying it on a small part of the skin. This will ensure that your skin is not allergic to turmeric. If you feel a burning sensation even after applying turmeric, then remove it immediately.
Excessive use is dangerous.
Turmeric contains natural color which can leave stains on the skin. Apply it on the skin in small quantities and for a limited time only. If you use it more and daily, then it can spoil your skin.
Do not leave it for a long time.
Do not apply turmeric face pack for more than 10-15 minutes. Applying it for a long time can make the skin yellow. Many times, it can even cause pimples on the face.
Avoid sun exposure
Avoid going out in the sun immediately after applying turmeric. If you go in front of sunlight immediately after applying turmeric, it causes many problems on the face.
