In Chhath Puja, mainly Sun God and Chhathi Maiya are worshipped. During Chhath Puja, arghya is offered to the Sun God. For this, fasting women go to the ghat. Performing Chhath Puja on the ghat has special significance, as this festival shows respect for nature and water.
