On the first day, people feed crows, and on the second day, dogs. On the third day, Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped and Nepal Samvat also begins from this day. The fourth day is celebrated as the New Year and on the fifth day, Bhai Tika takes place, which is celebrated like Bhai Dooj.

Diwali in Malaysia and Singapore

Diwali is also celebrated in countries like Malaysia and Singapore. On this occasion, there is a government holiday in Singapore and cultural programs are organized.
