According to reports, Deepu Singh, a resident of Maroli village of Mataundh police station area of Banda, killed his 30-year-old wife by slitting her throat with a sword. Police said that the accused attacked his wife Priyanka when both of them were alone at home.

The accused was addicted to alcohol

Police said that the accused was addicted to drinking alcohol. Before the incident, the accused had some dispute with his wife over something. After this, the accused attacked his wife with a sword. Due to this, the woman died on the spot. After committing this incident, the accused husband fled from the spot.

This matter was revealed when the mother of the accused returned home in the evening. She was shocked to see the scene here. Her daughter-in-law's body was lying in the house soaked in blood.
