The temple holds great religious importance and is one of the major temples in the Terai region. It attracts large crowds, especially during the Navratri festival. Many visitors come for the Mundan ceremonies of their children, as donating hair here is considered a sacred act.

Located to the west of Tulsipur city, the temple is accessible via bus from Balrampur. Tulsipur is well-connected to the district headquarters and major cities across India. For those traveling by air, the nearest airport is in Lucknow, the state capital.

Situated to the west of Tulsipur, the temple is easily accessible via bus from Balrampur. The most convenient way to reach Tulsipur is by taking a train to Gonda Junction and then traveling by bus.
