A young dad has died in Benidorm on his first holiday abroad with friends.

Nathan Osman's passing has left his family and friends heartbroken. His family said the father of four, from Pontypridd, south Wales, "suffered a tragic accident" during the break in Spain.

Describing the 30-year-old man as "an incredible father", the family spokesperson said: ""Nathan, from Pontypridd suffered a tragic accident whilst on his first ever holiday abroad with friends in Benidorm Saturday morning. Nathan worked endlessly to provide for his family but he was looking forward to his first trip abroad with friends.

"Unfortunately, whilst trying to return to his hotel, Nathan got lost resulting in him taking the wrong path that lead to a fatal fall. Nathan’s family and friends are left utterly devastated and heartbroken."

Nathan's family and friends have launched a crowdfunding page to help get the man's body home from Spain. The spokesperson told Wales Online Nathan leaves behind his partner Katie, who is the mother to his four young children. They called Nathan "the kindest of souls".

The relative continued: "Nathan was the most doting partner to Katie, the mother of his four children. This tragic accident has left Katie and his four children to live the rest of their lives without him. Nathan's children were his absolute world and he lived and breathed for them. He was an incredible father and made so many wonderful memories that his children will cherish forever.

"Nathan was the most loyal person, a faultless son, a caring brother, a fun loving uncle and a true friend to anyone that was lucky enough to know him. His smile and his big brown eyes were infectious. He was the kindest of souls and his legacy will live on through his four beautiful children.

"Nathan enjoyed spending mornings at the beach with his children and partner. They loved exploring, being outdoors and going for hikes always having a great time and making beautiful memories. Nathan was totally devoted to his family, and as long as his family were happy, he was too.

"His Sundays were spent at Nanny Mo’s and then at his parent’s home to enjoy as many cooked dinners as he could handle. He enjoyed time at the gym with his brothers, spending time with his sister and catching up with friends. He took great pleasure in spending time with his many nieces and nephews and making them laugh. He wanted the upmost best for everyone he knew and would give help to anyone in need.

"The family really want to emphasise the importance of not walking home alone and to always stay with a friend or family member. Regardless of how you may feel in the moment, please don’t take for granted your own safety. We want Nathan to be remembered for the amazing soul he was and the beautiful legacy he has left for everyone. He will be missed forever."

A GoFundMe page has been launched to fundraise money to bring him home from Benidorm.
