The Met Office has extended its UK weather warnings as Britons expect continued cold and snowy misery into the coming weekend.
New yellow alerts for snow and ice have been placed over southern and southwestern England as the vicious cold snap continues past the 24 hour mark. Several-dozen new areas have been added to the already extensive list, with November 23 and 24 bringing another 24 hours of misery.
