After losing the first round of a public court battle against , you'd think the last thing would want to do is come face to face with her arch nemesis again.
But it looks as though the wife of Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy, 42, wants nothing more than to confront Coleen in the Australian jungle, oncegets underway. Rebekah had previously been on the show back in 2017 but was the third celebrity to be eliminated. During her stint, she became embroiled in a bitter who claimed she made him feel "miserable" and "isolated.".
In an interview with The Sun, Rebekah showed she was open to the idea of meeting Coleen face to face. She explained: "But if people really want us to meet up before that, then ITV should get me in that jungle as a special guest. What are they scared of? Confrontation? But isn’t that what the show’s all about? It’s about viewing figures." Coleen will be joining a host of celebrities including Tulisa, YouTuber TV and radio presenter Melvin Odoom and former champion Barry McGuigan.
And despite being landed with huge legal costs, money does not appear to be an object as she also claimed that she would happily drop everything and jump "on the plane now." She continued: "One hundred per cent, I’d say yes if they asked me. Get me on the plane now. Over to you, ITV."
And a close friend told the publication: "Becky would be straight on a plane if she had the chance. She’d love to see the look on Coleen’s face if she appeared. It would make the best television. But she imagines bosses have promised Coleen they have no such surprise planned. She thinks it’s hilarious that Coleen is copying her and it is only encouraging people to keep talking about Wagatha rather than leave it in the past."
They added: "Becky has nothing to hide though she would be game to put on her camp costume." In what seemed like a swipe at Coleen just two days before the start of the ITV show, posted online: "I take rumours as a compliment. The fact that you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered."
The pair's friendship came to an end after Coleen accused Rebekah of leaking stories about her to the press from her private social media account. After months of investigation, Coleen decided to filter out the person leaking stories by hiding all of her friends on her account - apart from Rebekah.
But initially, this was not enough to prove Rebekah had a hand in providing stories to the press. After Coleen posted a message online, Rebekah took legal action over libel claims. But a High Court judge ruled in Coleen's favour and the Leicester City WAG was also instructed to pay Coleen's extensive legal costs.
