Black Friday isn't the same date every year, although it traditionally falls on the first Friday after the American celebration of , which this year means it'll take place on 29 November 2024. Four weekends before Christmas, it marks one of the busiest – and best – shopping events in the year, and a great time to make a dent in your Christmas shopping while saving money.

You'll usually to able to shop thousands of impressive money-saving deals across that whole weekend until Cyber Monday (2 December) – with certain offers even starting earlier and carrying on longer.

When do the Black Friday 2024 sales start in the UK?

While the majority of retailers will launch their Black Friday sales at 00:01 on 29 November 2024, many will introduce early offers in that week leading up to that Friday.

If you've got your eye on something in particular, it's a good idea to keep checking the brands' websites in that week leading up to Black Friday to ensure you don't miss out on the biggest saving. Some will also have the option of signing up to be one of the first to hear when deals drop.

When do the Black Friday 2024 sales end?
