The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024 took place on Saturday night in Abu Dhabi.
The event was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar and featured performances by Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, among several others.
Animal led the nominations with 11 nods, closely followed by Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with 10.

'Animal', '12th Fail'
Animal, an action-packed thriller starring Ranbir Kapoor, won Best Film and also swept the music categories, among other wins.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it grossed a staggering ₹550cr net in India and ₹900cr worldwide post its release on December 1, 2023.
The film is available to stream on Netflix in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Additionally, Vidhu Vinod Chopra clinched the Best Director award for 12th Fail, available on Disney+ Hotstar.

Khan's Jawan, directed by Atlee, had secured seven nominations.
Khan won Best Actor for this actioner streaming on Netflix.
Another notable winner is Rani Mukerji, who won Best Actress for Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway.
