In addition, millets have a low glycemic index, which means that their consumption does not increase blood sugar levels and also helps in controlling weight.

Multigrain flour is made up of many grains like ragi, jowar, bajra, soybean, oats, maize, wheat. It contains nutrients from all these grains, which are great options for a balanced diet. Multigrain flour contains more nutrition than wheat flour, because it is rich in protein, fiber and other micronutrients, which provide complete nutrition to the body.

Dr. Amit Kumar said, "Research has proved that multigrain flour is very beneficial for the digestive system. It is rich in nutrients and the fiber present in it nourishes good gut bacteria, which improves the digestion process and improves metabolism.

Multigrain flour also proves to be effective in weight loss. It especially contains gluten-free grains like ragi, jowar and bajra, which help in weight loss and suppress appetite. Millets have anti-inflammatory properties, and hence multigrain flour made from millets is also beneficial for those who have problems with joint pain or swelling due to excessive heat.
