A shameful case of gang rape of a minor girl by three people during the Navratri festival has come to light from Surat, Gujarat. This incident happened when the victim had gone out with a friend at around 11 pm on Tuesday. The victim has registered a case in this regard. 

Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, the police said that a 17-year-old girl was raped at a secluded place on the outskirts of a village in Mangrol taluka of Kosamba police station area.

.Police said that the minor girl was with her friends after coaching. On Tuesday night around 10.30 pm, after eating ice cream with two of her friends, she sat with one of her friends at a deserted place on the way to the petrol pump on the highway near Mota Borsara village. During this, three people caught hold of the girl. Seeing this, the friend ran away from there. 

Police have identified two accused in the case.

After this, all three of them raped the girl one by one. The accused fled from the spot taking the victim's mobile phone. After this incident, the victim's friend informed the police. Police registered a case, seized a motorcycle, and identified two accused. Police are investigating the case. More revelations may be made in this regard soon.
