The accused husband has told the police during interrogation that he suspected his wife. There used to be disputes after drinking alcohol. The husband suspected that the wife was having an illicit relationship with someone else. Due to this, the two did not get along. This entire incident is from Hathwar village of Patna Police Station area. On the morning of 11th November, the dead body of a woman named Sunita Singh was found here. After this, the woman's brother informed the police, that Sunita's body was lying on a cot in the house. Also, the husband was found missing. She used to refuse to have sex, police informed that the accused husband Vishal Singh had been arrested. During interrogation, he said that he used to suspect his wife. She used to always refuse to have sex.

Also, she used to quarrel with me. The same thing happened on the night of 10th November as well. She refused to have sex. They also started quarreling. Attacked with an iron rod: During the argument, the husband hit her on the head with an iron rod lying nearby. During this, Sunita Singh fell unconscious on the spot. After this, the husband inserted a bamboo stick in her private part. Also, he strangulated her with a red saree. The wife died on the spot. Fled in the morning: After killing his wife, the husband stayed in the house the entire night. After this, in the morning, he informed her parents over the phone and fled from the house.

It is being told that both of them got married in the year 2011. They also have two children. One daughter and one son. The daughter studies in a hostel while the son lives with his parents.
