Shocking video of South African batsman's run out, 9-year-old record broken

The South African team had to face its first defeat in the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 on the evening of 7 October. England defeated them in the match played in Sharjah. A similar unique incident happened with South African batsman Sune Luus on the ground of Sharjah, when England's Nat Sciver ran her out.

Nat Siver had no intention of running out the South African batsman standing at the non-strike end. It just happened suddenly at that moment, the video of which is now going viral rapidly. It just happened.

Now understand how Sune Luce got run out. She was standing at the non-striker end. England's Nat Siver was bowling and fellow batsman Draxton was on strike. Now what happened was that Draxton played a shot, which went straight to bowler Nat Siver's shoe. Siver showed intelligence and changed the direction of the ball towards the wicket. When the ball hit the wicket, Sune Luce was outside the crease and she was declared run out.

9-year-old record broken

Talking about the match, South Africa batted first and scored 124 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, England chased the target by losing 3 wickets 4 balls earlier. With this, a 9-year-old record was also broken as this is the biggest chase in the Women's T20 World Cup in Sharjah. Earlier in Sharjah in 2015, Sri Lanka had chased 111 runs against Pakistan's women's team.
