Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a multi-year partnership with Air France-KLM to help modernize the airline group’s data operations. The collaboration aims to make Air France-KLM a leader in data-driven aviation, with TCS supporting the airline in moving its data to the cloud over the next three years.
By transitioning from traditional data centers to the cloud, Air France-KLM will enhance its operational efficiency, drive better decision-making, and improve overall functionality. The new data architecture will also provide a more adaptive and sustainable approach to the airline's business operations.
TCS, which has been a trusted partner of Air France-KLM for 30 years, will work on migrating critical systems, including flight operations, passenger information, aircraft maintenance, and e-commerce platforms, to the cloud. This shift is expected to provide significant improvements in customer service and operational excellence.
“We are excited to work with TCS on this new phase of our digital transformation. By leveraging data and new technologies, we will become more agile and better equipped to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations,” said Pierre-Olivier Bandet, EVP and Group CIO of Air France-KLM Group.
The project will involve over 100 TCS professionals from its delivery centers in France, the Netherlands, and India. This partnership will help Air France-KLM continue to set new benchmarks in aviation, enhancing both customer experience and sustainability.
TCS aims to help Air France-KLM reach new heights in operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term sustainability through this data modernization initiative.
