According to the box office report, 'Jigra' earned Rs 4.55 crore on its first day, which is considered to be the worst opening of Alia's career. Talking about the worldwide collection, 'Jigra' earned only Rs 7.45 crore on the first day.

Improvement in second day earnings

On the second day, the film did a little better and collected Rs 6.50 crore. However, this is still much less than Alia's other films. Alia's first film 'Student of the Year' also earned more than 'Jigra'. Talking about Alia's flop films, films like 'Shaandaar' and 'Kalank' also had a better opening than 'Jigra'. 'Shaandaar' earned 13.10 crores and 'Kalank' earned 21.60 crores.
