Bajaj Auto has announced a remarkable increase in its vehicle sales for September 2024, rising by 20% to reach 469,531 units, up from 392,558 units in the same month last year. The company saw a 23% growth in domestic sales, which totaled 311,887 vehicles compared to 253,193 units sold in September 2023. Additionally, exports increased by 13% year-on-year, reaching 157,644 units.
In the two-wheeler segment, Bajaj Auto sold 400,489 units in September, marking a significant 22% rise from 327,712 units sold in the same month last year. Of these, domestic two-wheeler sales reached 259,333 units, showing a substantial 28% increase from 202,510 units a year earlier. Exports of two-wheelers also rose by 13%, with 141,156 units shipped abroad compared to 125,202 units in September 2023.
Furthermore, sales of commercial vehicles grew by 6%, with a total of 69,042 units sold last month, compared to 64,846 units during the same period last year.
