Chandigarh: A moving car caught fire near a toll plaza in Jhajjar district, Haryana, on Thursday, though no injuries or casualties were reported, officials confirmed. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze, and the situation is now under control.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Rajpal Singh from the Dial 112 service stated that firecrackers were found at the scene. "There was no loss of life in the incident. The fire has been extinguished, and all passengers are safe. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation," ASI Singh said.

In a separate incident earlier in the day, a fire broke out at a tyre factory in Bohla village, Baghpat district, Uttar Pradesh. Fire department officials reported that the blaze engulfed the factory, with visuals showing thick black smoke rising from the site.
