Mukesh Ambani Becomes the First Indian to Make Fortune’s 100 Most Powerful People List: Yes, Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Ltd., has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first Indian to be named in Fortune's prestigious list of the 100 Most Powerful People in Business. Ambani ranks 12th on the list, solidifying his influence in the global business landscape.

In addition to Ambani, the list features six other prominent figures of Indian origin, including Microsoft’s Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella, Google's CEO Sundar Pichai, Adobe's CEO Shantanu Narayen, venture capitalist Vinod Khosla, E.L.F. Cosmetics' CEO Tarag Amin, and YouTube's CEO Neal Mohan.

This distinguished list recognizes leaders from across 40 industries, including founders, CEOs, innovators, and disruptors, whose ages span from their 30s to their 90s. Among the Indian-origin individuals listed, four are CEOs of major technology companies, while one leads a successful makeup brand.
