The Delhi Metro Yellow Line will experience disruptions in the morning hours of Sunday, October 6, due to planned maintenance work at Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station.
This temporary disruption will affect services between Samaypur Badli and Millennium City Centre Gurugram until 6:40 am. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced changes in train schedules and station operations for the day.
In a post on social media, DMRC stated that during the maintenance period, trains will run at a frequency of 10 minutes. Once the work is completed, the regular Sunday timetable will resume for the rest of the day.
The first train of the day will depart later than usual. Instead of the typical 6:00 am departure from Vishwavidyalaya to Millennium City Centre Gurugram, the first train is scheduled to leave at 6:45 am. Similarly, the first train from Kashmere Gate to Samaypur Badli will begin its journey at 6:52 am instead of 6:00 am.
For the rest of the Yellow Line, including the sections from Millennium City Centre Gurugram to Kashmere Gate and from Samaypur Badli to Vishwavidyalaya, regular train services will remain unaffected.
