Sharvari is filled with excitement as she prepares to share the screen with one of her biggest inspirations, Alia Bhatt, in the upcoming spy thriller Alpha.
During a recent appearance at the IFP Festival, Sharvari expressed her admiration for Alia, recalling how she has been a fan since she started watching her movies. “It’s truly a dream come true,” she said. “I’ve been such a big fan of Alia’s ever since I watched her films. She’s just incredible.”
At 27, Sharvari never expected to land such a huge role early in her career. “I never thought I’d get the chance to work with Alia and headline a project like Alpha with her,” she added. “For me, this is a dream come true.”
The festival, held at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai on October 13, celebrated creativity and culture, marking the second day of its fourteenth season. During a session titled “Qisse with Kopal,” Sharvari engaged in a conversation with Kopal Khanna, co-founder of Tape A Tale. Sharvari has been gaining recognition for her performances in recent films like Munjya, Vedaa, and Maharaj, earning her praise in the industry.
Working with Alia feels like an ongoing learning experience for Sharvari. “Every day with her is like attending a master class. I’m constantly learning from her, observing her, and trying to improve,” she shared. “I believe this is just the beginning of an incredible journey for both of us.”
Apart from her acting career, Sharvari also made an impact in the fashion world, walking the runway for designers Pankaj and Nidhi at Lakme Fashion Week, calling the experience another “dream come true.”
On Dussehra, Sharvari took to social media to share her thoughts and prayers for Alpha. She wrote, “Happy Dussehra and Vijayadashami! I’m praying for Alpha today because on this day we honor the tools and instruments that fight injustice, ignorance, and evil,” reflecting her belief in the power of creativity.
Fans are eagerly awaiting Alpha, which is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the action-packed film will feature Alia and Sharvari as super agents. The production company teased the film’s release on Instagram, building anticipation for what is expected to be a thrilling holiday movie.
