Career of Om Shivpuri

After this, he worked in many major films, such as Koshish, Namak Haram, Aandhi, Khushboo, Sholay, Don, Kitaab, Ek Hi Raasta, Pati Patni Aur Woh, and Sarkari Mehmaan. He has shown his acting prowess in more than 175 Bollywood films.

Films getting released even after his death

Om Shivpuri died on 15 October 1990. But the interesting thing is that his films continued to be released even 7 years after his death. Prominent among these films are Swarg, Sailaab, Narasimha (1991), Khooni Raat (1991), Shanti Kranti (1991), Zulm Ki Hukumat (1992), Kis Mein Kitna Dum (1992), Police Wala (1993) and Aakhri Sangharsh (1997). It is a proof of the depth and impact of his acting that people still remember him. Om Shivpuri's personal life is also interesting. He was married to Sudha Shivpuri, who is a popular TV actress. Sudha Shivpuri is known for the role of Baa in the TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Om Shivpuri and Sudha Shivpuri have two children, Ritu and Vineet Shivpuri.

Beginning of career

Om Shivpuri started his career from a radio station in Jalandhar. It was here that he met Sudha Shivpuri. The two fell in love and later got married.
