Zverev sits on the ATP Player Council and says he already knows what will happen from 2026 onwards but that he won't give any details away.

The ATP Finals moved to Turin in 2021 and quickly became a popular tournament among Italian sports fans, who pack out the Inalpi Arena throughout the week. But the five-year deal to play the event in Turin will expire after next year's edition.

It means the men's tennis tour has the option to explore new host cities for their premier competition. And there have already been reports that the ATP Finals will stay in Italy but move to another city.

Nothing has been confirmed yet but Zverev has revealed that he knows what will happen to the year-end tournament. The world No. 2 sits on the players' council and was asked whether the ATP had consulted players about future plans for the contest.

"I know what is going to happen, so... I'm not going to tell you," he replied. "I'm not going to be the source that you find out. I know what's going to happen from 2026 onwards."

Based on Zverev's comments, it means the ATP has likely already confirmed plans for the future of the tournament. But he's refusing to give anything away.

The German added: "I know what's going to happen. I'm not going to tell you more. You're not going to get it from me. Not this time."

Zverev is making his seventh appearance at the ATP Finals this season. He has clinched the title twice in two different locations, lifting the trophy in London in 2018 before winning in the first year the event moved to Turin.

The ATP has yet to confirm where the tournament will move, or if it will leave Turin at all. But it's believed the Finals will be heading to Milan from 2026.

According to, the top-eight competition will switch to the Arena Santa Giulia in Milan, a new venue which is currently under construction.

The 16,000-capacity arena is being built for the next Winter Olympics. Afterwards, it will become the main sporting and entertainment hub in Milan, replacing the Unipol Forum.

The ATP has already shown an interest in hosting events in Milan. The Next Gen ATP Finals - an under-21 version of the normal Finals - was held in the city for the first five years of its creation. It later moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Stefanos Tsitsipas were among the list of champions of the Next Gen contest when it was played in Milan.
