is the biggest shopping event of the year, but it has morphed into a month-long sale rather than only falling on one day. We've got the internet to thank for that, as popular retailers opt to extend the discounts for the entire month of November. It's the best time of the year to keep an eye out for offers on the tech you've been hoping to pick up, or shop for that present for a loved one.
is no exception, and we've been digging through all of Amazon's early Black Friday deals to bring you the very best. There are hundreds of tech items on offer right now, but there's a lot of cruft, from products with not much discount to cheap non-brand gadgets that aren't worth your time, let alone money.
Until Black Friday arrives on 29 November, here are the best you can get from Amazon.
NOW £48.98 - SAVE £74.99
Of course Amazon is going to discount its own tech for Black Friday, and it has begun well with this early Echo Dot bundle deal. One Echo Dot smart speaker normally costs £54.99, so to get two for £48.98 along with a Philips Hue smart bulb is a superb offer.
With two speakers you can have one in the kitchen and one in your bedroom, for example, and call on the Amazon Alexa voice assistant to read you the news, weather forecast, play the radio and more. You can also control other smart home devices, such as the included blub that will fit into regular screw light fittings. If you have a Fire TV Stick plugged into your telly to watch shows and films, you can even use the two Echo Dots as a stereo pair for better audio.
NOW £69 - SAVE £30
This is an outstanding price for what is already an affordable set of wireless earbuds. British company Nothing is making some excellent products, and the Ear (a) might be our favourite. They're riding high at number two in Express.co.uk's chart and offer great sound quality and solid noise cancellation - now for the low price of £69.
You can choose from white, yellow or black and all have a fun transparent design. The charging case is small and well-designed, and there are several tip sizes in the box to get the best fit. If you don't want to fork out for AirPods, these are the buds to go for.
NOW £499 - SAVE £500
The Google Pixel 8 Pro is half price from Amazon this Black Friday, down to an astonishing £499. We don't need to say much more!
This is an excellent premium Android phone with great build quality, a superlative screen and some of the best cameras you can get on a phone. Google is also promising to provide software updates for the device for seven years from its 2023 release, meaning you'll be fully secure till late 2030.
NOW £652.64 - SAVE 546.36
While it's true this is still pricey for a TV, paying a hair over £650 for what is usually a £1,199 high-end telly is a great deal. This is one of Samsung's great QLED screens, which are better quality than regular LED, providing better contrast and brightness. It has a flat panel perfect for boxset marathons or gaming.
Capable of 4K picture quality and clever speakers that can follow the sound on the screen, this is a first class ticket to an upgraded home cinema set up. The included remote control is even handily solar charged so you don't need to scrabble through your drawers for batteries.
NOW £239 - SAVE £100
Samsung phones are well built, reliable, have great software and solid cameras. But they're not usually this cheap. £239 for the Galaxy A35 is an excellent Black Friday deal here, getting you a phone with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM (that will keep apps ticking over nicely), a 50MP camera leading a triple lens setup, and five years of software updates.
Yes, it's not as good as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but it costs more than £1,000 less. You read that right! And it's certainly not as inferior as that pricing difference could imply. The screen is a 6.6-inch OLED, it's IP67 water resistant and there's even a microSD slot if you run out of storage. That's a lot of phone for the money.
We expect there to be scores more tech discounts go live on Amazon between now and Black Friday on 29 November and beyond. Remember to check the prices on other UK retailers such as , and .
