Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, the beloved Geordie presenting duo, have issued an "important announcement" to fans of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! mere hours ahead of the 2024 series' first live broadcast.
Using their combined Instagram profile, the pair broke the news to their whopping 5.2 million followers, contentedly saying: "Hi everybody, Ant and Dec here. But you knew that."
Eagerly addressing the flurry of curiosity around Jungle Club this year, the presenters shared: "We've got a little update for you, because we know lots of you've been asking about Jungle Club this year.
"We've got some good news and we got some bad news. I'll start with the bad news, shall I?"
Capturing the limelight, Ant delivered the bombshell: "Jungle Club will not be going on straight after the main show. Sorry. The good news is it will be going on straight after the new ITV2 show. Yay!" reports
Dec chimed in to outline the new timing, voicing: "So we are back, but we're a little bit later. Yes, we are. It's Jungle Club: Late and Live. One for all you night owls out there."
Die-hard fans know Jungle Club as the thrilling Instagram live hit where Ant and Dec spill the beans immediately following the televised episodes, garnishing it with hilarious anecdotes and exclusive gossip.
This social media offshoot was launched by the chummy hosts in 2022, and the current year hails as the third anniversary of the interactive show which has quickly become a crowd-pleaser.
Immediately succeeding I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked, a fresh after-show on ITV2 steered by Joel Dommett, Sam Thompson, and DJ Kemi Rodgers, Jungle Club promises to continue its cheeky after-hours company.
The fans of Ant and Dec, in no time, swarmed comments post-announcement, eager to voice their anticipation and thoughts.
Viewers of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! have already voiced their discontent with one commenting: "Gutted, I'd rather just have jungle club than the ITV2 show."
Another added: "We need a way to watch jingle club the next day - for us oldies that will asleep by the time it's on!" A third expressed disappointment: "Disappointed. Far too late for us oldies/early risers for workers."
Meanwhile, a fourth pleaded: "Could you please upload every single jungle club that you do this year onto your main page so for people who like to sleep can watch it."
The 2023 roster features Oti Mabuse, Alan Halsall, Jane Moore, Dean McCullough, Tulisa Contostavlos and Melvin Odoom. Other celebrities jetting off to Australia include Coleen Rooney, Barry McGuigan, GK Barry and McFly's Danny Jones.
Speculation is rife that Love Island's Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles will be joining as surprise contestants, although ITV has not yet made an official announcement.
