BBC Bargain Hunt presenter Christina Trevanion's plea for help in cryptic post

star Christina Trevanion took to Instagram and shared a cryptic message thanking a "lovely man" who came to her assistance today.

The BBC favourite explained she was at the train station and went on to praise an employee at the local coffee shop.

Posting a photo of a steam train, she penned: "To the lovely man who runs @thecoffeeshop at East Grinstead Station.

You went above and beyond to help me this morning. THANK YOU [prayer hand emoji]."

She added: "[Great coffee too!]"

Christina did not provide any further insight but instead shared a video from the Horses Trust in a follow-up post.

The antiques expert has previously shared clips of going horseback riding with her family in a rare insight.

The 43-year-old, known for her appearances on BBC's Bargain Hunt, began her television career on Flog It! before a series producer invited her to join the team as an expert.

After spending 15 years honing her craft at various auction houses, she took the leap in 2014 to establish her own business in Shropshire, her home county.

She relishes her job's variety, saying no two days are alike.

The esteemed auctioneer shared: "One day, I can be covered in cobwebs rummaging around in someone's loft looking for priceless treasures; the next, I can be giving a lecture to a group on early English porcelain."

She expressed her deep passion for the antiques industry, stating: "The antiques industry isn't just a vocation, it's a way of life."

Bargain Hunt airs on weekdays on BBC One from 12.15pm
