BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty was left slightly red-faced during Thursday's show.
Viewers watched a segment on the upcoming Bergerac reboot, which is expected to air next year before Naga and Charlie Stayt touched on the original.
Watching a sneak peek at two actors giving chase through the streets, Charlie said: "I certainly don't remember anybody running that fast in the original Bergerac"
Agreeing, Naga replied: "Not in those days, it was very sedentary I always found."
Although her co-star countered the TV show had a pace of its own, before making a request to bosses.
Charlie looked to the crew behind the scenes and asked: "Have we got the music so we can have a little memory moment again?"
The soundtrack started to play as Naga and Charlie enjoyed the familiar tune before swaying on the sofa.
Bobbing along to the beats, Naga commented: "Very cool."
Charlie was quick to call out of dance moves as he asked, "Were you doing some kind of weird head movement?"
Unimpressed by his remark, she replied: "Oh be quiet!
Looking away before rolling her eyes, Charlie swiftly moved the segment on as viewers were given a weather update.
It seemed as though his comment was all in good jest as the pair were seen smiling and laughing as the camera panned away.
Although this wasn't the first time the pair had a cheeky quip at one another during the show.
Earlier on in the show, Naga was reading a segment from a newspaper about people being charged extra for wasting food at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
Before getting into the article, she was curious to know more about Charlie's eating habits so she asked him multiple questions.
Getting irate, he swiped: "Is this going anywhere?!"
Naga shouted "yes!", before getting to her point and informing him about a place in Cornwall charging extra for those wasting massive amounts of food.
BBC Breakfast continues weekdays on BBC One from 6am.
