BBC Strictly Come Dancing judges face backlash over latest scores: 'Should be ashamed'

Others expressed similar frustration, with one asking: "Why did Craig just gave Chris a 6? Are you serious? #Strictly." (sic)

Another commented: "Craig calling Chris' dance 'bonza' and then scoring it a 6? ! ! ! No Craig, it was NEVER a 6! ! ! Ffs! #Strictly." (sic)

The audience was wowed by Chris and Dianne's energetic routine, which included some impressive lifts and spins. Dianne beamed with pride as they received their scores, fighting back tears, reports .

Despite the controversy over the judges' scores, Chris and Dianne's performance was widely praised by fans, who took to social media to express their admiration for the pair.

Fans of Strictly Come Dancing took to social media to question the judges' scoring, with one fan incredulously posting: "A 6 from Craig for that performance is ridiculous #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing." (sic)

Another viewer joined in on the critique, airing their dissatisfaction and remarking: "Craig is suffering from a condition where he scores everyone 2 below what they should've gotten. Because that was NOT a 6 #strictly." (sic)

Calling for justice on the dance floor, an outraged fan pleaded: "That was worth more than 6 Craig, come on #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly." (sic)

Despite receiving criticism for his scoring decisions at times, judge Craig Revel Horwood is known for his tough but honest approach towards all participants of the show.

During last night's show, Love Island's Tasha Ghouri and her dancing partner Aljaz Skorjanec soared to the top of the leaderboard with their Charleston to Anne-Marie's rendition of 'Unhealthy' by Shania Twain.

In contrast, Dr Punam Krishnan and Gorka Marquez found themselves at the bottom with a score of just 20 points for their Jive.
