BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Johannes Radebe speaks out after fans voice concern

Strictly Come Dancing's Johannes Radebe has shared a three-word response to one fan who voiced concern that he hasn't been his 'joyous self lately'.

The 37-year-old dance professional, who is back on the show for another dazzling season, has been teamed up with Olympic runner Montell Douglas. The dynamic duo has consistently wowed both the judges and the audience with their spectacular routines.

Yet, there's been a wave of worry from viewers about the South African star's demeanour, as some suggest he's not quite been himself.

A fan highlighted these worries by posting a screenshot on a Strictly fan page, captioning it: "For those who have been worried about JoJo, he has responded to someone who asked that question on last night's Instagram post."

The original message from a concerned admirer stated: "Hope you had fun Johannes! You haven't been your usual joyous gorgeous self lately (on Strictly). Many fans have been concerned about you lovely," reports .

In response, Johannes reassured his followers with the words: "I'm okay darling." He added: "Montel (sic) has been good to me and we're enjoying the dancing. Hope you're good."

During the previous week's Movie Week, Johannes and Montell delivered a fierce Tango to One Night Only from the legendary movie Dreamgirls.

Their performance earned them a score of 28 out of 40, securing their spot in the fourth week of the contest, where they are set to perform a Viennese Waltz.

During a candid chat on Strictly It Takes Two, Montell shed light on the most arduous part of her dancing experience.

The celebrity revealed that mastering the art of dancing in heels is proving to be quite the ordeal. She admitted: "It's really tricky because I'm just not used to it. You have to think about choreography, dance and perform, where literally I'm holding on with my toes! I'm used to trainers, I live in them for the whole of my life. It's just finding the balance on these size 10 boots."

Montell has been vocal in the past about her battles with executing dance moves in high heels, emphasizing the "pain" she endures with every step.

Speaking to The Mirror, she disclosed: "The hardest thing is not the routine - it's the shoes! It's doing it in a shoe that wants to break your foot. The shoe is designed to give you pain, which she does very well actually.

"Especially because I'm just not used to it. I'm living in high heels. It's like a night out where you have to keep your heels on all night. That's what it feels like."
