received more than she bargained for during Sunday night's results show. The Strictly Come Dancing pro, 35, and her celebrity dance partner Wynne Evans, 52, faced Montell Jordan and Johannes Radebe in the dance-off.

The dancing duo took to Blackpool's Tower Ballroom with a Charleston routine to Carmen Suite No. 1: 5. Les Toreadors by George Bizet.

While Katya made it through several lifts and was even swung around by Wynne, the closing of their routine caught viewers' attention.

Right at the end of the routine, she was accidentally hit in the face by a flying rose thrown onto the dancefloor as part of the routine's finale.

But the ballroom icon was quick to recompose herself and graciously stand back on her feet.

The pair faced Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe in the dance off.

Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke all chose to save Montell, and head Judge Shirley agreed.

Following his departure, Wynne commented: "Strictly is such a brilliant family, such a precious family, that I want everybody here in this room and at home to look after it for the generations to come because it is a wonderful, wonderful thing."

Katya said: "To be honest with you, the smile hasn't left my face since the first day of our training, since the day we got partnered up.

"You [to Wynne] have made this experience so joyous and so full of laughter for me. I'm sure everybody was jealous because you're the kind of guy that everybody wants in their life.

"You bring light, you bring laughter, you bring charisma, you fill up every room you walk into with those qualities."
