's sponsor has been accused of dressing her in "revealing" outfits for her matches.

The world No. 3 signed a deal with New Balance when she was just 14 and now has her own custom shoe and clothing line.

Following her , the sportswear brand has come under fire for the clothes they provide her for matches.

Gauff lifted her ninth career trophy last weekend, beating Qinwen Zheng to be crowned the winner of the season-ending championships in Riyadh. It's her second-biggest title after her maiden Grand Slam triumph at the US Open.

The American wore a purple dress during the tournament - the colour of the WTA Tour. She tied it together with a matching headband and a jacket for her walk-ons and the trophy ceremony.

Her sartorial statement went down well but it raised a conversation about the other outfits she wears during the tennis season. Serena Williams' ex-coach Rennae Stubbs discussed Gauff's week in Riyadh on her podcast and attention turned to her attire.

"I love that the finalists wore purple," co-host Caitlin Thompson said. "Coco's New Balance kit was the best I've seen her in."

Stubbs added: "Her stuff is so cool." But Thompson thought the brand often missed the mark, even if she liked Gauff's purple WTA Finals outfit.

She continued: "Her stuff is often good but a lot of times they put her in extremely tight and very revealing clothes.

"This one I felt like was quite... She's got an insane physique so it's not like anything's going to be unflattering on her, but this one for me just was 10 out of 10."

But Gauff seems to have no problem with her New Balance looks and loves working with the brand.

She launched her own custom shoe - the CG1 - in 2022 and recently followed it up with a new iteration, the CG2.

Discussing her partnership with New Balance, the 20-year-old previously told : "I've been with the brand since I was 14, so they have been there for every step of my journey and truly care about me as a person - not just an athlete.

"The entire team at New Balance is awesome to work with, so going through the process for a second time was so great."
