First Direct customers have the chance to win up thousands of pounds each as the bank, a division of HSBC, hosts a prize draw to mark its 35th anniversary. There are 10 jackpots of up to £3,500 available, along with smaller cash prizes for participants, and the competition runs throughout October and November.
To enter, you must live in the UK, be at least 18 years old, and hold a sole or joint First Direct current account opened on or before July 1, 2024. You also need to have made 30 debit card transactions, including Google Pay and Apple Pay.
Transactions for gambling, credit card payments, insurance payments, or cash withdrawals do not count. To participate, opt in via email or the banner in the First Direct app before 11.59pm on October 31.
First Direct said it will attempt to contact prize winners by email within 14 days of the draw date. Your prize will then be paid directly into your current account within 14 days of the draw being made.
If you hold more than one current account, it will instead be paid into whichever account you want which can also include a joint account.
