Speaking about their home in his memoir Spare, Harry shared that it even came with "a pond with koi carp" - something that he was advised to hire someone specific to look after.

After he reportedly enquired about where to find a specialist, Harry added in Spare: "The agent wasn't sure. We laughed. First-world problems."

According to Aquatic Veterinary Services - who is a mobile veterinary practice taking care of pet fish in California - a fish examination can cost $300 (£231) for an initial service fee plus mileage costs, and then £19 ($25) per fish.

As reported by , the fish would then require further blood work or ultrasound tests at extra cost, plus any treatment needed.

It previously emerged that Harry and Meghan's £12 million home is rather expensive - with the hire that the couple are said to be looking for coming as another cost within their home.

The Duke of Sussex, who stepped down from royal duties alongside his wife Meghan Markle in 2020, also referred to their home as "a dream" in his bombshell memoir.

He wrote: "We took a tour. The place was a dream. So we pulled together a down-payment, took out a mortgage, and in July 2020 we moved in."

Their home, which is situated in Montecito, is spread across 5.4 acres of land. The multi-million-pound property features a library, office, spa, gym, game room and a wine cellar. It is also believed to have a five-car garage.

Fans were treated to a small tour of their home in their 2022 Netflix docuseries as the chic property featured in many clips.

The couple moved to the US in 2020, and live in their home with their children - Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

Archie was less than a year-old when they moved to the US. Lilibet was born in the US, a year after their major move.
