Inside Prince William's romantic proposal to Kate 14 years ago

It has been 14 years since the world found out that Prince William was set to marry , then Kate Middleton.

While the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 42, show rare displays of affection in public - with - it seems the prince was able to pull out the stops when it came to romance for the special proposal in 2010, nine years after the couple first met.

Although the official announcement of the engagement took place three weeks after the proposal, this did not stop the couple opening up about the special night in their engagement interview in November 2010.
