Iran-Israel LIVE: IDF air strike 'on medical centre' kills five in Beirut Lebanon

An IDF strike on Beirut, Lebanon, has killed two tonight, as Lebanese media claims Israel has bombed a medical centre in the nation's capital.

It comes after Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a thinly veiled threat to the US and its allies during a meeting with Iranian elites in Tehran today.

He blamed the regional tension and wars on "US and some European countries" which "falsely claim they bring peace and tranquillity to the region".

He said they must "get lost" from the region so that the countries in the area can live in peace.

Khamenei's comments come as Israel continues to push ahead with its military incursion into southern Lebanon.
