ITV GMB's Susanna Reid sparks outrage in Nigel Farage clash as fans all say same thing

Susanna Reid came under fire from Good Morning Britain fans after an explosive interview with Nigel Farage.

The ITV presenter continually interrupted the Reform UK leader as he expressed his thoughts about the Conservatives and immigration while claiming that he was the man behind "getting Brexit done".

In the fiery interview, Reid told the Clacton MP it was a Conservative government that triggered the Brexit referendum and ultimately saw Brexit happen.

She said: "It was a Conservative government that got Brexit done, so you're very critical of the government that actually did what you have been campaigning for your entire life."

Mr Farage laughed before responding: "None of those things would have happened without me. None of them."

Later, Reid and her co-star Ed Balls challenged Mr Farage for being "irresponsible and dangerous" after he suggested police were withholding the truth about the Southport attacks.

As he was giving his views, she berated him and kept talking over him, reminding him not risk being in contempt of court.

At one point Reid shook her head and pulled faces while continuing to fire questions at Mr Farage, with the pair shouting over each other.

Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, pointed out Reid's "annoying" habit.

One wrote: "Regardless of viewers' opinions of Nigel Farage, that had to be the least professional TV interview I have ever seen!

"Susanna Reid made it all about her in such a personal manner. Her job is to ask questions and comment on the answers given not dominate the whole thing!"

Another fumed: "Why is the Labour mouthpiece Balls allowed on here? As for Susanna, she ... won't let anyone speak who she disagrees with."

A third wrote: "I beg Susanna Reid learns how to debate and take turns, as much as one might dislike Nigel Farage the constant interrupting and snarky comments doesn't help your case."

Someone else added: "Why bother getting Nigel on when all you're going to do is talk all over him? Give the man a chance to speak. Clear they hate him. Susanna is doing my head in here."
