ITV I'm A Celeb's Coleen Rooney on 'worst nightmare' as she addresses Wagatha Christie

Coleen Rooney has revealed her 'worst nightmare' from the infamous 'Wagatha Christie' dispute with Rebekah Vardy.

In tonight's (November 18) episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, the 38-year-old WAG opened up about the sting operation that earned her the nickname, admitting that it was "draining."

The WAG fall out came after Coleen shared that she had planted fake information on her private Instagram account as a trap for the person that had been leaking stories about her to the press.

In October 2019, she took to Twitter to broadcast that fellow WAG Rebekah's account was responsible for the leaks.

While sitting at the creek with Coleen, Dean McCullough and Jane Moore, influencer GK Barry asked 'Wagatha' if she had been scared when she published the tweet.

Standing firm on her decision, Coleen replied: "No because I just didn't think it would have the impact it did, because I was just that sick and tired of it, it was draining."

The post led to a libel case, Vardy V Rooney, which was widely covered by the press.

She continued, revealing the worst part of the quarrel: "That was my worst nightmare, to go to court.

"I felt like it was like putting on a show for the whole world."

Ahead of entering the jungle, Coleen expressed that she wants to move on from the trial and share the real "Coleen from Liverpool" with viewers.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: "That's a place that I've been, I've dealt with it. In my life now, I'm just moving forward and not looking back.

"That's something I've done my whole life, dealt with things, moved forward at the time and got on. There are more important things to think about with the family and kids.

"I think I'd rather just be known as Coleen from Liverpool. Not from any other type of place. It's just me, as I always have been. So hopefully people just think she's that Scouser that she's always been."
