ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh left in stitches after Strictly star's 'ridiculous' answer

Celebrity Special made its eagerly awaited return to , with famous faces playing to win a huge cash prize for their chosen charities.

Its host, , welcomed presenter Richard Bacon, singer Gary Wilmot, star Daisy Arwen Campbell and Professional .

During Neil's cash builder round, Bradley was taken aback by the dancer's incorrect answer and struggled to ask the remaining questions without laughing.

The 42-year-old was asked: "What is something used to clean your teeth that is also a dance?"

After some hesitation, he abruptly responded: "A thong."

This sparked a roar of laughter from the studio audience and short giggles from Bradley as he attempted to get through the round.

After answering the final question, the host was able to let out his stitches of laughter as he leaned on the iconic sloping board unable to speak.

A confused Neil thought Bradley was laughing over his final answer before the 64-year-old repeated his hilarious response.

After gasping for air, he exclaimed: "The name of what thread used to clean your teeth is also a style of dance, and he said thong!"

While Bradley pretended to remove an invisible thong and clean his teeth with it, Richard joked: "He's got big gaps in his teeth."

Viewers even took to social media with their reactions as @SocialMediaJon1 remarked: "Apparently Neil Jones thinks people floss their teeth with thongs."

A second fan added: "That was a classic Chase moment there. Well done Neil Jones."

@Southerncazz1 also poked fun at the moment and shared Sisqo's 1999 hit Thong song with a load of laughing emojis.
