Bradley Walsh was left red-faced this evening (November 16) after presenting a celebrity edition of . The 64-year-old presenter welcomed on four famous faces to take on a Chaser in a bid to win a cash prize for charity.
Joining the celebrity line up on Saturday's showing were ITV star , runner Paula Radcliffe, radio presenter Toby Anstis and TV presenter Rav Wilding. Three-time winner of the London Marathon, Paula, was feeling a little cheeky as she made a joke at Brad's expense.
Introducing her to the show, the host asked what she was like with general knowledge. The runner replied: "I think I've got areas where I know stuff and then I have areas where I know nothing. So yeah, that's probably why I'm nervous."
Bradley tried to calm the celebrity contestant as he said: "Well, don't be nervous! You'll be great." He added a little tip to help her deal with her emotions as he said: "Just imagine that everyone here is naked."
Paula laughed cheekily before replying: "You can see what direction I'm facing," while pointing directly to the host. Brad's jaw dropped to the floor as the studio erupted in laughter and applause.
The presenter walked away from his podium in shock and the set descended into chaos. When he eventually returned to his post, Paula giggled before apologising.
Brad fauxed outrage as he said: "That was so unnecessary!" Once again the panel and studio roared with laughter as the host tried to move swiftly on.
The sportswoman went on to bag seven correct questions in the cashbuilder round before going up against Chaser Shaun Wallace. He offered her a low offer of £1,000 or a high offer of £55,000, with her opting for a middle offer of £7,000.
She successfully made it through the round, joining Toby with a place in the final chase.
Bradley praised her, saying: "That was fantastic. Paula Radcliffe you're in the final, well done."
Shaun joked: "Well the way that she beat me, I thought she was going for a run!" Brad quipped: "Yes, hysterical!"
