's mentor Darren Cahill has revealed that he will quit coaching once his partnership with the Italian comes to an end.
The renowned Australian tennis coach joined Sinner's team in 2022 and has since guided him to the top of the game.
But Cahill will not look for a new full-time coach role once the world No. 1 decides their time together is up.
Cahill is regarded as one of the top tennis coaches, helping multiple players win Grand Slam titles. The 59-year-old previously worked with the likes of Andy Murray, Andre Agassi and before joining forces with Sinner.
Together with Sinner's head coach Simone Vagnozzi, the Aussie has taken his charge's career to new heights. Since appointing his two mentors, the 23-year-old has won two Grand Slam titles, reached No. 1 in the world, and lifted four Masters trophies.
They also helped Sinner turn his head-to-head around against some of the top players. He's won four of his last five matches against Novak Djokovic to level their record at 4-4.
The Italian also had a 0-6 record against Medvedev before hiring Cahill and Vagnozzi. He now leads their rivalry with eight wins to seven losses.
But Cahill has now revealed that his coaching job with Sinner will be his last, as he told that he will not work with another player "full time".
Asked how long he could stay in 23-year-old's camp, Cahill said it was up to Sinner. He added: "Whatever he wants.
"There's always a right time to get a new voice, get new inspiration, a new set of eyes. ... but everything is going really well with us at the moment."
The 59-year-old also made it clear that he wasn't the top dog in team Sinner, claiming Vagnozzi was the "main voice" and "the one that delivers all the information".
For now, Sinner's coaching formula has proved to be spot-on. Cahill and Vagnozzi have been spotted scouting out the Italian's rivals at this week's ATP Finals, often sitting in the stands to watch the other matches.
The top seed is through to the semi-final after going unbeaten in his three round-robin matches, not even dropping a set against , and Alex de Minaur.
Sinner finished as the runner-up 12 months ago, losing to Novak Djokovic in the final days after beating the Serb in the group stage. He will be hoping to go one better and lift the trophy on home soil this time around.
