Kylie Minogue makes huge announcement as fans all say same thing

has sparked major excitement among fans as she unveiled her latest gig away from the music business.

Although the superstar is well known for her chart-topping hits such as All The Lovers, Kylie will be stripping things back for an intimate bedtime reading session on CBeebies.

The 56-year-old revealed she will be the latest celebrity to star on the children's channel and read a new book during the bed time hour.

She will join the long list of A-listers including Harry Styles, , and to feature in the segment.

She took to with a clip of herself in the familiar setting, hiding behind and eventually cuddling CBeebies' soft toy Squidge.

In the caption, the pop icon shared; "So many aawwwww's!!! My CBeebies Bedtime Stories is out Friday 6:50pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer."

Kylie's fans took the comments with elation as many admitted they would still tune in despite not having young kids.

@Paulwilson8603 penned: "I'm a 47 year old man with no kids....I'll still watch."

As @@duncanallan1993 echoed: "I'm 31 with no kids, I'll also be watching."

Another fan @lemonpie20222021 added: "My kids are too old for CBeebies, but I'll be watching anyway."

A younger fan @ts_jbs stated: "I'm 16 and I'm going to be watching it."

On the CBeebies' official Instagram page, another video was posted to announce her appearance.

The singer said: "Padam, Padam. Hi I'm Kylie, the tension is rising as I'm waiting to read you a CBeebies Bedtime story, it's going to be magic."
