is set to receive an extensive briefing from before his tenure as the new manager begins on January 1.

Tasked with the interim role, Carsley will compile a thorough review of the squad and their last two Nations League games against Greece and Ireland.

Tuchel said: "I think it's important that we debrief properly, the three camps rather than just being a bit reactive just on results. It's the whole experience.

"We will collate our thoughts together, along with the rest of the players in terms of handing over something he can read and look through that's valuable. And then we'll step back to support him."

Despite not knowing whether he'll get to meet Tuchel face-to-face, Carsley hopes for a dialogue before Tuchel officially steps in.

With the incoming manager position yet to be solidified, the FA have dodged potential embarrassment at the upcoming World Cup qualifying draw on December 13 in Zurich.

The draw will be conducted remotely due to FIFA's updated event format rather than being done in-person draw, meaning England do not have to delegate someone to travel to be there.

England's promotion to Nations League Group A means they forego March playoffs and may kick off their World Cup qualifying in the next international break.

England's schedule will hinge on whether they land in a four or fiv- team qualifying Group, but their Nations League Group victory has simplified next year's planning.

This could open up the opportunity for two friendlies in the United States against potential opponents America and Mexico next June, while the three autumn camps in 2025 will focus on World Cup qualifying.

Tuchel is set to select his first squad in March, but he'll begin his duties at the start of the year, scouting games, tracking players, and settling into his role at the FA.
