Darts sensation has shed light on how he prepared for his Grand Slam of Darts match on Tuesday, revealing a strange pre-match routine involving his beloved .
The 17-year-old sensation is participating in the tournament at Wolverhampton with the hope of landing the £150,000 prize. He made the best possible start by getting out of his group, while his friendly foe Luke Humphries was dumped out of the tournament.
To help him prepare, Littler switched sports for a short while and turned his attention to United, who have hired Ruben Amorim as their new head coach. The Portuguese coach officially began work at Old Trafford on Monday after taking over from interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy.
And Littler revealed that before his match against Lourence Ilagan, he was one of thousands of United fans who tuned in to watch Amorim's flight progress as he flew in from Lisbon to Manchester.
When asked if he was tracking the Portuguese's plane journey, Littler said: "I was, on the little flight radar. It was the No. 1 tracked flight with like 6,400 people!"
"[I was] focusing on both [Amorim's flight and darts match]... mostly this [facing Ilagan]."
Amorim's appointment was confirmed two weeks ago but United chiefs had to be patient before they could finally link-up with him this week.
The 39-year-old's arrival has been met with huge anticipation from United supporters after a dismal start to the Premier League season.
And as many Red Devils supporters have pointed out since Amorim agreed to take over, he was heavily linked with the Liverpool job before Arne Slot was appointed to succeed Jurgen Klopp in June.
And Littler was quick to make reference to that. The teenager also admitted the jury is still out for him as to whether the tactician will be a success at United.
"I don't know whether he is going to do a job, but we've got him in for some reason," he added. "Obviously he didn't want to go to Liverpool last season, or West Ham either, so he chose us.
Littler is a massive United fan and the darts specialist has often been seen filming and meeting with members of the playing squad. Back in January, he met with the club's iconic manager Sir Alex Ferguson and sat in the VIP section for the Tottenham game at Old Trafford.
Back to his day job, the youngster narrowly missed out completing a nine-darter before beating Ilagan 5-3 in a Group F fixture on Tuesday night.
