One of the best Nintendo Switch games of decade is £14.99 for limited time only

The Black Friday sale is live on the eShop, complete with discounts on hundreds of games.

Running from now until December 1, the eShop sale is one of the most comprehensive yet for the Nintendo platform.

Games like Metroid Prime Remastered, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and EA Sports FC 25 are all discounted as part of the sale.

One of the console's most popular games is also on sale, as Hogarts Legacy is reduced to its lowest price yet on the Switch.

The best-selling video game spinoff is available for just £14.99, down from its regular asking price of £49.99.

The game sees players attend the famous school of wizardry, and just in time to foil an evil plot.

Pupils must attend various classes, learn spells, forge friendships with fellow students and explore the surrounding area.

Other games worth checking out in the sale include Super Mario Odyssey, which is reduced to £33.29.

That's on top of Red Dead Redemption for £23.99, EA FC 25 for £27.49, Disney Dreamlight Valley for £25.11 and It Takes Two for £17.49.

Elsewhere, Mortal Kombat 1 is down to just £14.99, Batman Arkham Trilogy is £24.99 and Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen is only £4.24.

With Xenoblade Chronicles X about to make its debut on Nintendo Switch, now is the perfect time to check out the other games in the series, including Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition and Xenoblade 2 for £33.29 each.

If you're a big SEGA fan, then there's never been a better time to pick up Sonic Superstars, which is available for £17.99 with the LEGO DLC. Likewise, Sonic Frontiers Digital Deluxe Edition is reduced to £32.99.

In addition to games from the eShop, Nintendo is also holding a sale for physical items and hardware on the My Nintendo Store.

For example, the Nintendo 64 controller for Switch is 30% off for Nintendo Switch Online members.

That's on top of various Nintendo Switch hardware bundles, not to mention exclusive Nintendo gifts and bundles.

Nintendo is also holding the "Bring a friend" campaign, which rewards users with an additional 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership when friends purchase an individual 12-month Nintendo Switch Online or Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
