left his social media followers stunned as he celebrated International Men's Day with a snap from his raunchy photoshoot.
To commemorate the day, the broadcaster posted, "Happy International Men's Day... to celebrate, here's a flashback to my real man aftershave campaign for Burger King."
Alongside the caption, Piers shared a seductive photo of himself lying in front of a blazing fire wearing nothing but a gold chain and a small velvet rug to cover his manhood.
At the time, the TV star had signed up to be the face of the fast food chain's advertising campaign to launch a meat-scented cologne.
The billboard ad featured the strapline: "The scent of seduction. With a hint of flame-grilled meat."
The throwback sparked a frenzy among Piers' followers as @baum_edward commented: "Legend has it, the scent of flame-grilled greatness still lingers in the air wherever he goes."
A shocked @annadevaney01 revealed: "I just spat my coffee out."
An impressed @caprichosa_catherineanne added: "Handsome, smart and a sense of humor."
While @lovelycharmainemae questioned: "Wtf did I just see." (sic)
This came just days after following the death of a close friend.
His pal of 45 years Miles, suffered a tragic death after being diagnosed with Glioblastoma after finding a brain tumour "the size of an apple," despite being "fit as a fiddle".
Taking to Instagram, with a carousel of images, Piers penned: "We went to school together, played and watched cricket together, were ushers at each other's weddings, partied with each other around the world, enjoyed Test matches at Lord's together (100+ times), went on decades of annual village lads' golf trips together, enjoyed endless long hilarious lunches and dinners together, and mercilessly mocked each other the entire time we were in each other's company.
"He was one of the funniest, kindest, most popular people imaginable, beloved by his family and friends."
