Princess Kate was so nervous at major royal event she 'couldn't stop shaking'

The nerves got the better of her during her public debut and it is a moment royal fans will remember for a long time.

On November 16, 2010, formally introduced Kate Middleton to the world as a press interview was held at the State Apartments at St James's Palace.


While the royal lovebirds looked excited and joyous , esteemed royal photographer, Arthur Edwards, recalled just how nervous the future Princess of Wales actually was behind the scenes.

According to the photographer, when he went to get a close-up shot of she was so nervous that her hand began to shake.

The moment is not the first time Kate's pre-marital nerves were noticed by royal fans. A clip of the couple's engagement interview also went viral on TikTok, showing the moment Kate is asked how she feels about becoming a working member of the .

Kate said: "It's obviously nerve-wracking because I don't know what I'm doing - I sort of don't know the ropes really." She fights her nerves and then says: "I'm willing to learn quickly and work hard."
